  • Upload and manage supporting evidence, figures, documents, datasets, references, and other project assets in a library.
  • Use AI-assisted workflows to generate outlines, proposal sections, draft revisions, summaries, and editing suggestions.
  • Import existing drafts for analysis, editing, rewriting, citation support, and export.
  • Manage subscriptions, billing records, invoices, app preferences, profile information, and feedback.

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use FundLabs. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use FundLabs only with permission from a parent, guardian, or authorized institution.
  • You agree to notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Your project content

You retain ownership of the content you upload, enter, import, or create in FundLabs, including proposal text, RFPs, project titles, hypotheses, objectives, team background, uploaded files, references, figures, notes, drafts, and exports.

  • You grant FundLabs a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, transform, and transmit your content only as needed to provide and improve the service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and use any third-party materials.
  • Do not upload confidential, regulated, or sensitive data unless you are authorized to do so and your organization permits that use.

FundLabs intellectual property

FundLabs, including its software, workflows, interface design, prompts, models, infrastructure, branding, and documentation, is owned by FundLabs or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

4. AI-Generated Content and Research Responsibility

  • AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your funder, institution, jurisdiction, or scientific field.
  • You are responsible for reviewing, validating, editing, and approving all AI-generated content before submission, publication, or reliance.
  • You must verify citations, factual claims, eligibility requirements, page limits, budget rules, submission deadlines, and funder-specific instructions.
  • FundLabs supports research and grant preparation. It does not replace professional, scientific, legal, compliance, financial, clinical, regulatory, or institutional review.
  • You must not submit AI-generated content in a way that violates funder rules, institutional policies, publication standards, academic integrity obligations, or applicable law.

7. Third-Party Services

FundLabs may rely on third-party services for authentication, AI processing, document parsing, cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, email delivery, file storage, or external research data.

  • Third-party providers have their own terms and privacy practices.

8. Data Export and Account Deletion

  • Where the product makes export available, you may export supported project content and documents in the formats offered by FundLabs.
  • If you delete your account or request deletion, some data may be retained for a limited period for backup, security, fraud prevention, billing, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
  • You are responsible for exporting and backing up important work before deleting an account, canceling a plan, or losing access.

9. Service Availability and Changes

  • FundLabs is provided on an as-is and as-available basis.
  • We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, integrations, plans, or the service at any time.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for FundLabs or others, failed to pay required fees, or used the service in a fraudulent, abusive, illegal, or harmful way.

  • After termination, your right to use FundLabs ends immediately.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity, and dispute terms.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundLabs and its affiliates, providers, licensors, and team members disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FundLabs total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to FundLabs for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FundLabs from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of third-party rights, or your misuse of AI-generated content.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the service, email, or another reasonable method. Continued use of FundLabs after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
